KNIT YOUR FIRST SOCK :: Workshop at Kosa Arts, Oakland, CA - Sun, June 23rd 1-4pm

I always thought sock knitting was ridiculous - why would I spend all this time on an object that’s going to be mostly hidden in my shoes? Then I knitted a pair, and now I’m solidly 20 pairs deep and still can’t get enough. Socks are a brilliant project - portable, inexpensive (requiring very little yarn), super practical, and really fun. In this class, we’ll make the most adorable little baby sock so that you can practice all the skills you need to be able to knit all the socks your heart desires - baby and adult alike. It’s a quick and practical primer to take you from knitting scarves and hats to easily knitting socks.

This class is perfect if you’ve ever knitted anything (even just a wonky ass scarf), and you’ll breeze through it if you can already knit in the round. If you can’t - come along anyway! I can promise a low key & judgement free zone for you to learn some new skills.

Price is $55 including materials - sliding scale and payment plans available - email hello [at] to set up!
